I am cutting out ALL PVE Raiding within the guild!

Sorry guys, but it's not fair to the few 4 or 5 people who actually sign up and show up for raids every single week, and come prepared! These are the folks that are dedicated and want to get the gear, yet no one else here wants to put the effort in to help others, so I'm done. Those few who do occasionally show up to raids here and there don't bother to get their gear gemmed or enchanted then wonder why they're not putting out the DPS like they should. Seriously guys, I've put this on the forums a BUNCH of times of what's required for raiding, how to get the max DPS, videos on how-to's of bosses and hardly no one bothers!

So from now on, we will be strictly an RP/PVP guild. We will still do PVP events, all of them done In Character, as well as RP events but that's it. If you wish to stay in the guild and pug, that's fine, but If you wish to leave SoA and join a raiding guild, that's fine, I understand. As I stated at the guild meeting: If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns my door is always open, and if you don't like the way I run things, the front door is always open as well.....don't let it hit your ass on the way out. I'm done trying to please everyone and I'm done bending over backwards to get everyone the gear they need when no one else puts forth the effort.

Just a reminder to all to PLEASE add one stack of your highest level profession to the guild bank each and every week. ( Saronite Ore is accepted for miners, cloth for tailors, & leather for LW.). You can lose a rank by not doing so. This is what helps pay for your guild repairs!

Anyone interested in Ulduar should contact Xerxes in-game & SIGN UP on the calendar!.

It has recently come to my attention that others in the guild have asked for help, and were completely ignored. Guys, this will NOT be tolerated! Even if someone asks for help, and you're not able to help them at that time, at least give them the courtesy of saying you're busy but could help at later time. We are all friends and family here and we should treat each other with the respect that you would your RL friends and family.

Also, we have a few new members in the guild as well. Please make sure to just say hello to them when they log on? It takes 2 seconds to type out a hello to them in the OOC and make them feel welcomed. Granted I know most of the time, I'm raiding or PVPing and miss it sometimes myself, but I try my best ot be aware when someone asks for help or even just logs on. All I ask is everyone else do the same.

I have proposed a server-wide war between the Alliance and the Horde!! This will take place in one month and ANYONE level 35 and up is welcomed to come! We are hoping on 2-3 raid groups on EACH side! This is going to be an all-out World PVP war and I hope EVERYONE in SoA will be there for this very very epic event!!!!

GUILD MEETING UPDATE! 9-28-2009

Raiding was the main topic of last Tuesday's meeting.

First of all, I need 10 dedicated raiders that I know for a FACT will sign up for and can be counted on the be there every single week for raids! Once we get our 10, those 10 will raid weekly with us!

We are going to have to take 2 steps back in order to take 1 step forward in our raiding. We have several new members who have joined us within the past week, some of them new 80's, so we will be running Naxx10 again for a few reasons...

1) To get everyone geared.
2) For those of you way overgeared for Naxx10, you will STILL need to come so that we can learn how to work together as a good group! I don't care if you don't need the gear or even if you don't need the emblems, you will be expected to sign up and go if you expect to raid Ulduar and ToTC 10 man with us!

I'm sorry it's come to this, but raiding is the reason we lost 4 members at once to begin with, and it's because we have too many melee or too many casters in the same group and also because we have a new person coming every week, so we're explaining the fights every week which, in turn, is taking up so much more time that we could all be raiding if it's just the same 10 coming every week.

As for other news, Prima asked 5 volunteers to go search for Kayderon and got her 5 volunteers.

This actually happened Tuesday night, but Prima also now has Aelariann (sp?) as her personal bodyguard due to recent hits put out on her and SoA. He fought Pedreg the other night and due to him needing to go to bed and the fight being neverending, Pedreg fled from the duel saying "You live to see another day Primanoctes"

Also, Ranki has decided to make the inn in SoA town his home. He has also decided to make the bottom half of the inn an active bar for all SoA members. Anyone wishing to RP such with him in-game should contact him. (It's cleaned up also, so even though it looks run down in game, picture it more like the Goldshire inn.) There is also now an In Character forum for this bar here on the forums.

Sadly, we will be losing some of our greatest members. Granted, ANY loss of a member in SoA is a loss indeed, but losing four is a great loss. Druzza, Cerius, Nelluc, and Lexodar will all be leaving SoA. Actually, Nelluc has already left, the others are just soon to follow. They are simply leaving so that they can raid on separate times and with a separate group. They feel that if they stay in SoA and raid w/o us, they would be betraying us, so instead, they will be starting back up their old guild, and raiding that way instead. They hav all still offered their help to us whenever needed and would still like to RP with us whenever possible, so we're sure to run into them often in Brill. They will also be keeping alts in the guild, therefore, they will stay in the OOC channel with their mains. I can't express how saddened I am to see them go, but I understand that with time comes changes and, as a guild, we must always learn how to move and adapt with those changes. I wish them all the best of luck and hope we still see them often IC and OOC. God Bless. ~Prima~

For those of you that missed the guild meeting this past Tuesday, here's an update as a lot of material was covered.

1) Prima recommended to ALL SoA members to stay away from Pedreg and Artelius. I have written a forum of why and here's a link to it:

2) We need more Knights of Agony members! If you are interested in becoming a Knight of Agony and defending the guild, please contact Illuminoss! If he's not online, simply respond to his forum here or send him an in-game letter letting him know you're interested and when a good time for him to catch you online would be. 3) Kayderon, Pantara, and Kerdim are all back int he guild. Kerdim said he would explain either IC or on the forums his IC reason for coming back. Pantara is here IC, though will soon be MIA (I think) IC and Kaderon is MIA IC so he will not be participating in guild RP for the time being.

4) Illuminoss has been promoted (again hehe) to Enforcer and Ranki has taken his place as Warlord, the PVP officer. Therefore, all PVP ranks should now report to Rankie before reporting to anyone else.

5) Selinda has come back to SoA and is here to stay this time hehe.

6) Thank you to ALL of you who have recently submitted your items for the rank of Taskmaster and congratulations! For those who haven't yet, I really recommend you read the forums on ranks and how to achieve them to move up in ranks....higher ranks mean better benefits from the guild for you! 7) Memnoc's guild, <Fated>, and SoA are now (unoffically) allied. This is purely an IC thing. We will aid his RPing members in certain RP situations should they ask for our help and vice versa. They have their own raids as do we, so anything OOC will not be affected by this. This is simply an IC allaince for RP reasons only.

8) Last yet most important: WE NEED 10 DEDICATED PVE RAIDERS THAT WE CAN COUNT ON EVERY SINGLE WEEK FOR RAIDS! We will set up a time that works best for everyone once we have a set 10 but for now, we really need a set 10. Different people coming every week is giving us a bad mix of classes and we are having to explain the fights every week and it's costing us time, repair bills, and quite frankly, our sanity lol. If you KNOW for a FACT that you can be counted on for raids EVERY week, please let Druzza know so we can start this list. Thanks!

9) This wasn't brought up at the meeting, but I would like to start putting member's birthday's on the in-game calendar. If you'd be so kind as to post your birthday on the in-game calendar please, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

For those of you who missed the guild meeting last night....shame on you! But for those who had real life issues and could not make it, here's the update:

* Prima made an IC public apology to the guild for her actions towards her brother.
* Biggest news is that the guild ranks have changed as well as how to achieve them. Please see the forums here on how to achieve them and what is expected.
* Christaire is the Enforcer (Guild Officer) and Metaphysx is his back up. So from now on, all members with the title of Grunt or Taskmaster should report ALL issues directly to Cristaire before going to Prima. IF Cristaire is not available, then all issues should be taken to Meta.
* Druzza is the Dungeon Master (PVE Officer) and Kayderon is his back-up. So from now on, anyone with the rank of Crusader or Conqueror should report directly to Druzza before going to Cristaire, Meta, or Prima. IF Druzza is not available, then all issues should be taken to Kayderon.
* Illuminoss is the Warlord (PVP Officer) and for the time being, he does not have a back-up. All members with the rank of Gladiator or Champion should report directly to Illuminoss. IF Illuminoss is not available you may send him an in-game mail (Which I recommend unless it's something you need tended to immediately) before going to Cristaire, Meta or Prima with any issues.
* The rank of Taskmaster now requires 200 gathering profession items equal to your level in-game. However, they may be farmed, bought, or donated to you. These items may be put into the guild bank, or sent in the mail to Cristaire, Meta, or Prima.
*Rewards for each rank are still in the workings and not listed on the forums just yet but will be soon, so keep an eye out for an update.
*If you had any strikes from previous raids, they have now been wiped clean and you will start at zero strikes.
*Promotions will no longer be given at guild meetings. Your direct officer will recommend you for a promotion if they feel you are worthy of it. If you get the promotion, you will recieve an in-game letter directly from the Empress congratulating you and possibly some sort of special reward.
