08/22/2009 06:50 PM by Primanoctes.

The new guild ranks are here everyone! Please take a look at the chart below to see how the guild ranks work and the descriptions below on how to earn them. Please keep in mind, you're more than welcome to do both PVP and PVE within SoA but you will get rewarded for doing whichever you like to do more. (Reward will be posted tommorrow as I've been working on this all day and am quite tired at the moment.

Empress:This is the Guild Master's rank and only Primanoctes will ever have this rank.

Duties of the Empress: Oversees all functionalities of the guild. Will maintain the guild bank and direct the flow of all monies contained within the guild bank.

Enforcer: This is the guild officer position and is restricted to level 80 only. There may ONLY be one guild officer position and one back-up person for that officer. If at any time the Enforcer is not online, then their back-up person may be contacted. Otherwise, the main Enforcer should be the only one contacted.

Duties of the Enforcer: Oversees and is directly responsible for the Warlord and Dungeon Master and making sure their duties and responsibilites are being met to the best of their abilities. ENFORCER WILL HAVE LAST AND FINAL SAY OVER ANY GUILD ISSUES (IC or OOC) BROUGHT TO THEM!

PVP RANKS:

Warlord: Warlord is the PVP officer position and is restricted to level 80 only. There may only be one Warlord and one back-up person for him/her if in the event the main Warlord is not on. All Champions and Gladiators should take up any concerns, problems, or ideas up with the Warlord before ever going to the Enforcer or Empress!

Failure to achieve these requirements will cause your demotion to Champion until such time when those requirements have been met and you may then re-obtain your Warlord status.

Champion: Champion status is restricted to level 80 only!

To achieve Champion status you must have at least 7,000 HK and 3 out of 5 pieces to your level 80 PVP set.

To maintian Champion status, you must achieve at least 3,000 HK per month and participate in at least 3 Guild PVP events per month. Failure to achieve the requirements will cause your demotion to Gladiator until such time when those requirements have been met and you may then re-obtain your Champion status.

Gladiator:Gladiator status is restricted to level 70 and above.

To achieve Gladiator status you must have at least 4,000 HK and 2 out of 5 pieces to your level 80 PVP set.

To maintian Gladiator status, you must achieve at least 2,000 HK per month and participate in at least 2 Guild PVP events per month. PVE RANKS:

Dungeon Master: Dungeon Master is the PVE officer position and is restricted to level 80 only. There may only be one Dungeon Master and one back-up person for him/her if in the event the main Dungeon Master is not on. All Conqueror's and Crusaders should take up any concerns, problems, or ideas up with the Dungeon Master before ever going to the Enforcer or Empress!

Duties of the Dungeon Master:First and most important role of the Dungeon Master is to MAKE SURE IT HAPPENS when it comes to any and all PVE content! Dungeon Master oversees, maintains, and schedules 5 man regular dungeons, 5 man Heroics, 10 mans, and in some cases, 25 & 40 man raids, dungeons, and world boss encounters. Will also assign roles in raids, distribute loot accordingly and fairly for the best interest of the guild. Dungeon Master will also fill in spots as needed to make sure events go through. Dungeon Master will distribute and keep track of all Strikes and Tick Marks in raids. A Dungeon Master must also keep up on ALL new dungeon strategies and bosses.

Qualifications for the Dungeon Master:
Anyone with a Dungeon Master title must have full knowledge of raid/dungeon encounters, must have full tier set of either 10 or 25 man content or better, and must have patience for explanations and new people learning. The Dungeon Master must schedule weekly 5 man regulars, 5 man heroics, 10 man events, and 25 & 40 man content as available. The Dungeom Master must submit a screenshot of a boss downed in at least one raid or 3 heroics each week as proof. (Due to "face-smashing" the dungeon master must at least ATTEMPT to make 5 mans and 5 man heroics happen. However if the group cannot get into the instance, no penalties will be obtained as long they attempted it. Once Blizzard fixes the instances, however, it will be up to the Dungeon Master to make sure it happens!) Failure to achieve these requirements will cause your demotion to Conquerer until such time when those requirements have been met and you may then re-obtain your Dungeon Master status.

Conqueror: The Conqueror title is resticted to level 80 only. To achieve the Conqueror status, you must have at least 3 out of 5 of your Tier 7 set or better. You must participate in at least two 10-man raids or 6 Heroic guild runs each month. You must also submit 1 stack of your highest gathering profession each week to the guild bank. You must also be on time and ready for all PVE events that you sign up for. Failure to achieve these requirements will cause your demotion to Crusader until such time when those requirements have been met and you may then re-obtain your Conqueror status.

Crusader: The Crusader title is restricted to lvl 70 and above. To achieve the Crusader titke you must participate in either two 5-man regular or two 5-man heroic dungeons each week. You must also submit one stack of your highest gathering profession each week to the guild bank.

_____________________________________________________________

Taskmaster: To achieve the rank of Taskmaster, you must bring Prima 200 gathering profession items. These can only be gathering profession items and must be REAL items! Which means leather, cloth, ore, stones, and herbs. These 200 items can be farmed, bought, or even donated to you by other guildmates. However, the items MUST match your level. So a level 80 bringing me 200 peacebloom is not acceptable.

Grunt: Everyone starts out as a Grunt within SoA when you first join. You are put on a 1 week probabtionary period when first joining and during that time you will be observed with your RP, helpfulness to the guild and general mannerisms. Any proof of RP griefing or OOC disprespect brought to the Dungeon Master, Warlord, Enforcer or Empress of these things within your first week are automatic grounds for removal from the guild without notice! Please note these things can get you removal from the guild AFTER that first week also, but moreso within that first week of probation.

THE HOLD IS BACK!!!
08/13/2009 11:15 AM by Primanoctes.

Ahoy! "The Hold" Has returned!

Since several people were having problems with RPing an entire town, we have returned "The Hold". The Hold is within the town, so if you want to RP outside of the Hold, within the town, you still can, but main setting of guild RP will be in the Hold again. I created a DK and got this quest, and screenshotted it so you can see and know exactly where the Hold is located within the town.

06-22-2009 Guild Meeting Update
06/23/2009 12:35 AM by Primanoctes.

Just a quick update on the meeting this evening since some couldn't make it due to work:

You are expected to show up to raids and heroics ON TIME AND READY! This means be repaired already, have plenty of water, arrows, reagents, anything you need. If you sign up on the calendar for a raid you are EXPECTED to be there ready and on-time!

Also, no goofing off during raids or heroics! This goes for party chat, raid chat AND vent! I'm all for having fun in this game, but for now, a lot of us are new 80's and need to concentrate on our class, spec, and especially on learning the fights and strategies of not only the mobs but each other. When we're geared to the 9's and blowing through Naxx10 in one night, then sure, a little more joking and whatnot will be fine but until then, take our raids and runs seriously, or you won't be invited to them anymore.

On that note, there is now a 3-strike rule on this. If you sign up to a raid and do not show (unless you contacted me ahead of time letting me know something was up), leave early, or goof off during the raid, you will get a strike against your name. 3 strikes, and you will no longer be invited to guild heroics or raids.

Naxxramas runs will start back up next week - check your calendar for the invites. There is also a new post on the Naxx forums here so I can get a good idea of what starting times work best for everyone...please take a few moments to answer the poll there.

Also, Illuminoss is starting a small group within the guild called "Knights of Agony". He will be training anyone interested in becoming a Knight and teaching the ways of the old code to them. This group will also act as a "protection group", so to speak, for the guild. (This is all simply RP'd out with a bit of PVP involved as well.) If this is something you're interested in, please see Illuminoss in-game about it.

Promotions:
Congratulations to Xoruk on Taskmaster!
Congratulations to Druzza & Kamuka on Grunt!
